PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - With opening day less than a month away, the Pace University baseball team was voted to finish third in the Northeast-10 Conference's Southwest Division according to the NE10 Preseason Coaches' Poll for the 2020 season.

The Setters were voted behind Adelphi and Le Moyne, which finished first and third in the conference respectively, just a year ago. The Blue and Gold finished second last season and will be returning senior
Brian Bohlander (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) and junior
Dean DePreta (Stamford, Conn./Westhill High School) who each batted a career-high .297 and led the team with a combined 58 RBIs in 2019.

Left-handed pitcher
Thomas Ippolito (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) will also be returning for his junior season. Ippolito was named to the NE10 All-Conference Third Team as a sophomore last season, posting a 6-1 record and a 2.04 ERA. He also held opponents to a .176 batting average, which was tied for the lowest on the team.
