Box Score ALBANY, N.Y. – Sophomore Kirsten Dodge led Pace with 17 points as the Setters dropped a Northeast-10 Conference matchup against The College of Saint Rose, 61-47.

After an early run by the Golden Knights, Dodge put the Setters on the board with a layup that forced action to 6-2 in favor of Saint Rose. Following a bucket by the opposition, freshman Gabriella Rubin connected on a layup that sparked a 6-4 run for Pace with Rubin collecting all six points. Rubin added another layup at the 8:10 mark and led the Setters with nine first half points, but The Setters entered the locker room trailing by double digits.

Rubin netted a jumper at the 18:58 mark to score the first basket of the second half. Then with 12:49 remaining in the contest Rubin again scored, this time on a layup, resulting in a 6-2 Pace run that included four points by Dodge. With 5:50 to play in the game, Dodge scored on a layup, drew the foul, and connected on the free throw to complete the and-one. Senior Margo Hackett added seven points in the final four minutes of play, but the Setters fell to the Golden Knights 61-47.

Dodge added seven rebounds and a block to her team-best 17 points. Rubin scored 13 points with two rebounds and two assists.

The Setters return to action this weekend when they travel to West Haven, Conn. on Saturday to take on the New Haven Chargers.
