After a single by Chris Spatkowski (Bristol, CT/Bristol Eastern) moved Horn to third, Horn would then come home as the lead run when JJ Conrad (Hamburg, NJ/Wallkill Valley) (Hamburg, NJ/Wallkill Valley) singled through the left side to give Pace a 2-1 lead. Spatkowski led the Setters in hitting on the day going 3-for-4 in the ball game.

Pace would add on an insurance run in the bottom of the seventh when Wright singled through the right side scoring Patrick Chaputian (Sea Cliff, NY/North Shore) (Sea Cliff, NY/North Shore) from second to make the game 3-1.

Michael Franza (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) (2-2) started on the mound for the Setters, pitching five innings allowing just one run on two hits, while walking four and striking out one.
