SETTERS SPLIT TWIN BILL WITH CHARGERS
SUNDBERG TOSSES THREE-HIT SHUTOUT IN GAME TWO WIN

PLEASANTVILLE, NY- Pace University's baseball team lost the first game of a doubleheader to the Chargers of Dominican 13-3, but came back to split the games by winning 2-0 in the second game of the afternoon. The Setters go to 4-11 overall after the twin bill, while the Chargers are now 6-5 overall this season.

The Setters broke out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first after a run scored on a throwing error.

A three-run rally by the Chargers in the top of the second put Dominican in a 3-1 lead.

Pace bounced back in the bottom half of the second with another run from a single to center field by Robert Horn (Stamford, CT/Westhill) (Stamford, CT/Westhill) to make the score 3-2.

Dominican would maintain the lead throughout, eventually increasing it to 5-3. However, the Chargers put the game away in the seventh inning with an eight-run rally to end with the 10 run win.

The second game of the doubleheader was a pitcher's duel throughout. Pace would break the silence in the fourth inning when Vinny Dammann (Mullica Hill, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) hit a sacrifice fly to left field to score the game's first run.

Dammann would provide more run support in the sixth with about sacrifice fly ball this time to right field to make the score 2-0 and to seal the victory.

Game one was started by Richard Sullivan (Norwalk, CT/Norwalk) (Norwalk, CT/Norwalk) who went two innings, giving up three runs (zero earned), on two hits, and walking two. Sullivan is now 0-1 on the season.
