CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – The 26th Annual Pace Athletics Golf Classic, presented by Chartwells, brought alumni, family, friends and supporters of the Blue and Gold together for another memorable day in support of Pace University student-athletes. Held on Monday, June 15 at Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., the annual event once again served as one of Pace Athletics' signature fundraising initiatives, helping enhance the student-athlete experience and strengthen the future of Pace Athletics.
Participants enjoyed a full day at one of Westchester County's premier courses, beginning with registration and brunch before the 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. The outing featured a scramble format, giving golfers a chance to compete, connect and celebrate their shared support of the Setters.
Following the round, guests gathered for dinner in the clubhouse, which included awards, sponsor recognition, raffle drawings and a silent auction. Near the end of the event, Director of Athletics Mark Brown addressed the group and thanked all golfers, sponsors, alumni, families and friends for their continued generosity and commitment to Pace student-athletes.
This year's outing raised over $50,000 before expenses with proceeds directly benefiting Pace Athletics and the student-athlete experience.
On the course, the winning foursome was Joe DeLuca, Mike Wohleking, John Letourneau, and Harry Slutter from Quinn and Feiner, who finished with a spectacular round of 8-under 63. Also putting together an impressive performance, the second-place team from B & D Carpentry was Chris Dietz, Krista Dietz '25, Anthony Labita '25, and Mason Baronian '25, finishing right behind the leaders with a final score of 7-under 64.
