Krista Dietz joined Pace University Athletics in 2025 as an Athletic Communications Assistant. A native of Mahopac, N.Y., Dietz returns to Pleasantville following one of the most accomplished student-athlete careers in Pace history.

A four-time NFHCA All-American and the program’s all-time leader in goals, points, and assists, Dietz helped elevate Pace Field Hockey to national prominence during her four seasons on the field. She became the first Setter ever named NFHCA East Region Player of the Year in 2023 and capped her career in 2024 by leading all of Division II in assists per game while ranking among the national leaders in both goals and total points. Her efforts helped guide the Blue and Gold to multiple postseason appearances, including an NCAA Division II Championship Quarterfinal berth.

Off the field, Dietz excelled academically as a Digital Cinema and Filmmaking major with a minor in Sports Media. She was a consistent member of the Northeast 10 Academic Honor Roll and earned the Pace President’s Award for Academic Excellence. During her undergraduate years, she also developed a passion for sports storytelling, contributing to team coverage, photography, video production, and digital content for the department.

In addition to her communications role, Dietz served as an assistant coach for the Pace field hockey program during the 2025 season, bringing her leadership and competitive experience to the sidelines. Her unique background as both a standout athlete and emerging media professional provides a valuable perspective that enhances the visibility and storytelling of Setter Athletics across all platforms.
