NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – Pace University Women's Lacrosse student-athlete
Alexandra Witucki has been named one of three finalists for the 2025-26 Northeast 10 Conference Woman of the Year award, one of the league's most prestigious annual honors.
The NE10 Woman of the Year award recognizes graduating student-athletes who have exhausted their athletic eligibility and demonstrated sustained excellence in competition, the classroom, and community service. The award is voted on annually by the NE10's Senior Woman Administrators Council, and the conference's Woman of the Year recipient advances as the NE10 nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award program.
Witucki has helped Pace University Women's Lacrosse build one of the strongest stretches in program history. During her career with the Blue and Gold, she contributed to a national championship, a Northeast 10 Conference championship, and three regular-season titles, while helping the Setters remain a consistent presence on the national stage as the squad will compete in the NCAA DII Championship Semifinals this Thursday in Rochester, N.Y.
A sports marketing major with a 3.76 undergraduate GPA, Witucki has also pursued her MBA in business analytics through Pace's combined degree program. Her academic path has included coursework across Pace's campuses, membership in the Honors College, and the completion of an honors thesis, which she researched and presented as part of her undergraduate experience.
Beyond competition and academics, Witucki has made an impact through leadership and service. She has been involved with Pace's Athletics Diversity Committee and the IWLCA Multi-Cultural Leadership Program, while also serving as an Excelsior Scholar mentor and Honors mentor. Her community work has also included youth lacrosse coaching, Pace Goes Pink, Morgan's Message, The Harris Project, Pace Makes a Difference Day, and move-in day support.
Witucki's nomination also highlighted the personal growth that shaped her time at Pace. In her written statement, she wrote about how lacrosse gave her purpose, how coaching younger players allowed her to help others find that same connection to the sport, and how her experience as a student-athlete helped her understand her value on and off the field.
The NE10 will announce the 2025-26 Woman of the Year on Monday, June 1, at the conference's annual awards dinner at Saint Michael's College.
