NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference announced its Academic All-Conference teams for the fall season, recognizing student-athletes for their excellence both in competition and in the classroom. Pace University placed 10 student-athletes across football, women's soccer, and field hockey on the Academic All-Conference teams.
Student-athletes who satisfy all three criteria are eligible for selection to their respective sport's Academic All-Conference team. To qualify, a student-athlete must have been named to their sport's All-Conference team (First, Second, Third, or Defensive), completed at least two consecutive full-time semesters at the institution (excluding the most recently completed semester), and maintained a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.30 at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Pace football led the way with four Academic All-Conference honorees, highlighted by sophomore Decker McNally and junior Jhamier Howard. McNally earned recognition with a 3.78 cumulative GPA, while Howard posted a 3.43 GPA. Graduate student Ibrahim Diallo was also honored after recording a 3.88 undergraduate GPA and a 3.80 graduate GPA, while junior Travis Osterhout rounded out the football selections with a 3.40 cumulative GPA across five semesters.
Women's soccer added three Academic All-Conference selections, led by graduate student Allison Carr. Carr maintained a 3.42 undergraduate GPA and a 3.40 graduate GPA at Pace. Seniors Ava Viebrock and Andrea Flores were also recognized, posting cumulative GPAs of 3.71 and 3.76, respectively.
Field hockey contributed three Academic All-Conference honorees, all seniors, as Kyleigh Kearney, Molly Paterson, and Sydney Sims were recognized for their academic excellence. Kearney recorded a 3.85 cumulative GPA, while Paterson and Sims posted GPAs of 3.55 and 3.66, respectively, with all three completing seven semesters at Pace University.
Overall, the ten Academic All-Conference honorees reflect Pace University's continued emphasis on academic excellence across its athletic programs.
