Pace Athletics Announces Hiring of Krista Dietz as Athletic Communications Assistant

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University Department of Athletics and Recreation is proud to announce the hiring of Krista Dietz as Athletic Communications Assistant. Dietz joins the department following one of the most accomplished playing careers in Pace University history.

A four-time All-American and Pace Field Hockey's all-time leader in points, goals, and assists, she was a driving force behind the Setters' success during her four seasons with the team. Dietz helped guide Pace to multiple postseason appearances, including a berth in the NCAA Division II Championship Quarterfinals, while cementing her legacy as one of the most decorated student-athletes to wear the Blue and Gold.

In her new position, Dietz will assist in the daily operations of the Athletic Communications Office, supporting coverage and promotion for Pace's 15 varsity programs and spirit squads. Her responsibilities will include coordinating game-day operations, managing statistics and historical records, and producing written and multimedia content for the Pace Athletics official website and the department's digital platforms. She will also collaborate with coaches, student-athletes, and staff to continue elevating the visibility and storytelling of Setter Athletics.

A native of Mahopac, N.Y., Dietz graduated from Pace University in the spring of 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Digital Cinema and Filmmaking alongside a minor in Sports Media. During her time as a student-athlete, she developed a strong interest in sports media, contributing to team coverage and promotional projects while gaining experience in photography, video production, and social media management. Her background as both a standout athlete and emerging communications professional brings a valuable perspective to the Athletic Communications team.

Dietz's return to Pace marks an exciting addition to the department. With her deep understanding of the university's athletic culture, creative skill set, and proven dedication to excellence, she will play an important role in continuing to highlight the achievements and stories of Pace's student-athletes both on and off the field.
