PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Pace University's Homecoming Weekend and the 2025 Pace Athletics Hall of Fame Brunch sits just three days away.
In our fourth segment of the Inductee Spotlight, we sit down for an interview with
Peyton Wejnert, one of Pace men's basketball's most prolific players in program history.
Wejnert is another inductee who took pride in the term "student-athlete". Not only was he a stellar forward for the men's basketball program, but he also claimed the titles of being 2019-2020 CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year, NE10 Scholar Athlete of the Year, and NE10 Sports Excellence Award winner.
That same season of 2019-20, Wejnert was named All-Metropolitan (MET) Player of the Year and earned All-Region selections from both the D2CCA and NABC. He ranks fifth all-time in program history in points (1,729), sixth in rebounds (764), and third in single-season scoring with 659 points in 2019–20. He also maintained an impressive 50% field goal percentage over the course of his career in Blue and Gold.
Wejnert will be joining Jhalen Bien-Aime '19, Liam Brennan '18, Jocelyn Greco '07, and Annabel Keppel-Palmer '21 at the 2025 Pace Athletics Hall of Fame, presented by Northwell, on Sunday, October 19th at 11:30 a.m.
Other than the 2025 Hall of Fame Class, Pace Athletics will also recognize 2012 Pace Hall of Fame inductee Marcus Mayus '00 (Men's Lacrosse), who has been inducted into the NE10 Conference Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
