PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) announced their All-American Teams for the 2024-25 season where
Tray Alexander represents Pace Men's Basketball on both.
As a result of the successful 2024-25 Men's Basketball campaign, Alexander's contributions led him being the first ever Northeast-10 (NE10) Player of the Year, D2CCA East Region Player of the year, and now being able to join Pace Men's Basketball Hall of Famers,
Bert Brisbane '92 and
Al Elliott '02, with his All-American title.
"Tray has been the most impactful player to come through this program in many years," head coach
Matt Healing said. "His work ethic is remarkable, as well as his ability to elevate others around him. We are incredibly proud of Tray and his well-deserved accolades."
The Freeport, NY native led the Blue and Gold with 16.2 points per game, 8.7 assists per game, and 2.9 steals per game through 32 games this season. Alexander featured 12 games with 4 or more steals where his most was six two times versus Southern New Hampshire (1/5/25 & 2/1/25) and tallied 13 double-doubles with point and assists.
Additionally in his two-year career representing the Blue and Gold, Alexander became second all-time in career assists while breaking the record for most assists in a single season with 277 in the current campaign.
Healing and Alexander are not done yet. Announced yesterday, Mar. 25, the NABC released their Division II All-Star Game Rosters with Alexander and Healing, who is the featured head coach of East roster, selected to represent Pace on the East squad.
The game is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 28 at 6:30 p.m. CT, or 7:30 p.m. EDT, at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind. Catch all the live action
