PLEASANTVILLE, NY - #6 Men's Lacrosse featured an eventful home and campaign opener Saturday afternoon when they hosted the Molloy Lions at Northwell Stadium.

The Blue and Gold were paced by duo, Daniel Zabbia and Declan Landers, as they secured the 11-9 comeback victory in the final frame of the day.

Here's What Happened:
  • The Lions edged the Setters throughout the first quarter of the day until Timmy Morrow secured his first goal of the season for a clean slate, 2-2, heading into the second.
  • With three consecutive unanswered Molloy goals, the hosts were left trailing by three, 5-2, but near the end of the quarter Zabbia and Landers found the back of the net and slashed the opponent's advantage to 1 at the half, 5-4.
  • A swift goal by Will Danowski ignited the second half of play for the hosts when he tied the score at five, but Molloy fired right back to edge the squad, 6-5. Molloy would go on to score their final three goals of the game in the third and in the fourth quarter, it bled Blue and Gold.
  • Pace trailed by one with the last 15-minutes of the game remaining. Zabbia recorded the equalizer goal on a man-up opportunity and eventually caged the go-ahead goal, 10-9, Pace's first lead of the game.
