Pace Athletics Weekend Preview I Mar. 29

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – For the final weekend of March, Pace Athletics has the women’s and men’s lacrosse teams hosting in Pleasantville, N.Y. alongside the softball and baseball teams. In total Pace will host nine match-ups in the weekend.

Friday afternoon, the Pace University softball team will take on Saint Michael’s College in a doubleheader match-up at the Pace Softball Field. The last time the two teams met on April 16, 2023, Pace swept the doubleheader taking game one 6-0 and game two 5-3. The first pitch on Friday will be thrown at 12:00 p.m. Live Video Live Stats

On Friday, the Pace University baseball team battles New Haven for an in-conference match-up at Peter X. Finnerty Field. The last time Pace faced New Haven on April 2, 2023; the Setters dropped both games of the doubleheader. The first pitch on Friday is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Live Video Live Stats

Under the Friday night lights at Northwell Stadium, there will be a match-up between two top-ten lacrosse teams with No. 8 Pace taking on No. 4 Adelphi. Saturday morning at Northwell Stadium, the No. Pace University women’s lacrosse team will go against Southern New Hampshire University with an 11:00 a.m. opening draw. The last time these teams met came in the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Championships where the Setters won 19-6. Live Video Live Stats

Concluding the weekend slate will be softball, as they take on Franklin Pierce for a doubleheader match-up. The last time Pace faced Franklin Pierce came in the NCAA East Regional on May 12, 2023, and the Setters came away with a 6-2 victory after an 11-inning affair.
