PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Seven third-quarter goals were the difference at Northwell Stadium as the No. 11 Pace University men's lacrosse team took down The College of Saint Rose, 20-8, Saturday afternoon in the team's Northeast 10 opener.
The Setters stay perfect, moving to 5-0 overall, and will hit the road for their next game, traveling to Rindge, NH for a meeting with Franklin Pierce University on Saturday, Mar. 23 at 1 p.m.
The first quarter was a competitive affair, with the visitors taking a 4-3 lead into the second quarter, but that would not last long. Pace proceeded to score eight unanswered goals, which extended into the third quarter as the defense held the Golden Knights off the board for the entire second quarter and half of the third.
