MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – On Wednesday, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the offensive and defensive player of the week. Coming off an eight-point week,
Krista Dietz was selected as the NFHCA DII Offensive Player of the Week.
The senior forward tallied eight points for the Setters with two goals and two assists against Southern Connecticut State University and a goal versus Bentley University.
Dietz was active in the circle for the Blue and Gold posting a team-high 15 shots on goal during the week. With 19 total shots in the week, she had a 78.9% shot-on-goal percentage.
The Mahopac, N.Y. native's eight-point week marks the second-highest output on the season as she tallied nine points during the week of Oct. 7.
