After recently being voted the  No. 1 Esports program in the country, Pace Esports took the Spring 2023 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference season by storm. All Varsity teams continued their stellar performance from last season, either finishing the regular season undefeated, or very close to.
 
Needing at least a 4-4 score to qualify for playoffs, all seven Varsity teams passed with flying colors. Across the program's 18 teams, 16 qualified for playoffs this season—an 88% qualification rate (+12% improvement from Fall '22). Overall, the Varsity win rate for the spring 2023 regular season was an astounding 89%, while the overall win rate for the program was 71% (100/141 games won). 
 
To highlight, Pace SSBU Gold achieved a perfect regular season score (16-0) for the 2022-2023 academic year, not dropping a single match in their run. Additionally, both Fortnite Gold teams have claimed the top two leaderboard spots weekly, coming out on top over 30+ other schools. 
 
All teams will look to continue their outstanding regular season form into playoffs.
