NEW YORK, N.Y. – Pace Esports delivered a strong week across multiple titles, with several programs advancing in postseason competition and continuing deep runs in conference and circuit play. Highlighted by VALORANT, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Rocket League, the Setters positioned themselves for a busy playoff slate while continuing to build momentum across all levels of competition.
Pace VALORANT Gold led the way with a series of key results across multiple competitions. After a narrow 2–1 loss to Kennesaw State in the NECC Division 2 Quarterfinals, the team responded with a 2–1 victory over Fisher College in the lower bracket to secure a spot in the Division 2 playoffs. The Setters will now face St. Clair Academy this week as their postseason run continues.
In addition, VALORANT Gold also advanced to the Eastern Collegiate Conference playoffs, where they are set to take on the College of Staten Island in the semifinals. Over the weekend, the team added another strong result, defeating Baruch College in the NYC Collegiate Esports Circuit to move into the semifinals in that competition as well.
Pace Rainbow Six: Siege Gold also advanced in NECC postseason play following a resilient lower bracket performance. After falling 2–1 to Kansas State in the Division 1 Quarterfinals, the Setters bounced back with a 2–0 sweep of the University of South Carolina to keep their playoff run alive. They will face Central Methodist University on April 8th in the next round. In Collegiate R6 competition, the team currently holds a 5–2 record, placing sixth out of 30 teams in the Eastern Conference standings, and will continue into the playoffs this week.
Pace Rocket League Gold added to the postseason success, advancing to the NECC Division 6 Semifinals following a quarterfinal victory over King's College. The Setters will compete in the semifinals on April 8th as they continue their playoff push.
Across all programs, Pace Esports has compiled strong results throughout the regular season. Varsity teams hold a combined 20–15 record, while Academy teams sit at 23–23 and Club teams at 20–21, showcasing competitiveness across all levels of the program.
