Colchester, Vt. – Propelled by a strong second half, the 10
th-ranked Pace University men's lacrosse team tallied a 13-8 win over Saint Michael's College on Saturday. The road triumph puts the Setters' record at 5-0 this season, including 1-0 inside the Northeast-10 Conference.
Leading by just one goal at the break, Pace outscored the Purple Knights by a 6-2 margin over the final 30 minutes.
Senior 
Louis Ragusa (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown) was once again stout in net, making 12 stops in a complete-game effort. Five of Ragusa's saves came in the fourth quarter.
In addition to solid goalkeeping, Pace's defense totaled 13 caused turnovers while earning a 45-30 edge in ground balls.
On the other side, it was a trio of Setters filling up the stat sheet. 
Tim Cairo (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) finished the game with three goals and an assist while 
Anthony Caputo (Westbury, N.Y./W.T Clarke) and 
Rafael Rodriguez, Jr. (Farmingville, N.Y./Sachem East) each registered five points on three goals and two helpers.
Graduate student 
Kyle Casey (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown) also registered multiple points off a pair of goals.
Assisting in the offense was a 10-for-13 effort in face-offs from sophomore 
Maxwell Streety (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park). He nabbed a team-high eight ground balls in the process.

The Setters will be back home next Saturday (3/26) for a 1 p.m. contest against AIC.
