Bethpage, N.Y. -- The Pace University Men's Cross Country squad finished the season at the NCAA East Regional on Saturday at Behpage State Park.
Competing with just four runners, the Setter men did not place in the event. The Blue and Gold seniors ran as a pack with senior
Ceasar Lugo (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) crossing the finish line first of the group with a time of 52:09.20 in the 10K. He was joined by classmates
Nicholas Becker (Lynbrook, N.Y./East Rockaway) and
Ryan Murphy (Hawthorne, N.Y./Westlake) who crossed next at 53:31.40 and 53:32.60, respectively.
Sophomore
Reice Jansson () closed out the Setter runners with a 1:16.33.90 time.
Southern Connecticut State University won the regional with a point total of 53 and an average time of 32:09.
The regional was hosted by Adelphi.
