On Nov. 30, 2021 Pace University Athletics joined the global movement of
#GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity and giving back during the Holiday season. For Pace Athletics, it represented a day in which alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff came together to make a difference in the lives of our great student-athletes through financial investments.
Together, Setter Nation generated 453 gifts toward Athletics, which totaled $46,809 for Pace's 14 varsity programs and three support groups at the end of the day. Athletics' well surpassed the original goal of 200 donors, and had the goal move twice over the course of the day from 350 to 400. With email and mail in gifts still coming in, that number will rise over the next week. Matching funds have yet to be calculated.
As a University, Pace reached 955-plus gifts for more than $135,000 in support of the Pace communities in Pleasantville and in New York City.
The Pace Athletics community has never been more committed to success both on and off the field. The continued support of alumni, family and friends continues to provide the opportunity for student-athletes to reach their goals in teh classroom, in competition, in the community and in life.
Even though
#GivingTuesday has passed, Pace University Athletic Department can always benefit from the generosity of alumni, family and friends. Learn more about giving to
