PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Following a standout junior season, Emma Carruth (Torrance, CA/Beverly Hills) of the Pace University softball team has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-District Second Team.

Carruth, who was also selected to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team, was one of Pace's top offensive performers this season. The second baseman ranked second on the Setters with a .341 batting average, to go along with 32 runs scored and 15 RBIs. She also nabbed seven stolen bases, while posting 10 multi-hit contests.

Carruth was the only member of the Blue and Gold to appear in all 43 Pace games this season, making 39 starts. She made the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll on April 15 after collecting hits in seven straight games.
