PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Rebounding from their first loss of the season in dominant fashion, the sixth-ranked Pace University men's lacrosse team defeated The College of Saint Rose by a 23-4 final on Saturday afternoon. The decisive victory moves the Setters' record to 7-1 overall and 3-1 against the Northeast-10 Conference.
It was all Pace, all day, as the Setters opened the day with a 4-0 lead in the first quarter and an 11-1 advantage heading into the half. The Blue and Gold continued to be relentless on the attack, outscoring the Golden Knights, 12-3, over the final 30 minutes of play.
The Pace roster featured 19 different point scorers on Saturday, including 15 players that scored a goal.
Daniel Keenan (Mount Sinai, NY/Mount Sinai), the Setters' offensive leader all season long, was up to his usual ways with a career-high seven points on a pair of goals and five assists.
Connor Vercruysse (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) racked up five goals and an assist in the win, while
Bradley Paterson (Caldwell, NJ/Depaul Catholic) collected his third hat trick of the season with a three tally effort

Roman Fillyaw (Norwalk, CT/Brien McMahon) rounded out Pace's multi-goal scorers with a pair of tallies of his own. Eleven additional Setters found their way on the scoresheet with solo-goal games.
Louis Ragusa (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) collected the win in net, his seventh of his rookie season. The reigning NE10 Rookie of the Week made six saves while allowing a single goal in 42 minutes of work.
