Pace Basketball Teams Set for #Play4Kay on Saturday

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University men's and women's basketball teams will host their annual Play4Kay Fundraiser during Saturday's doubleheader against Southern Connecticut State University inside the Goldstein Fitness Center.

Fans in attendance who make a donation of $5 or more to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund will receive a Play4Kay t-shirt (while supplies and sizes last), sponsored by Twin Jewelers of Pleasantville.

The Play4Kay initiative has raised funds to aid in the fight against women's cancers for the past nine years. The Pink movement in women's basketball began during the 2004-05 season when North Carolina State head coach Kay Yow's cancer resurfaced after 17 years in remission. Since the fund's inception, more than $5.3 million has been donated to scientific research focused on combating women's cancers.
