MILTON, N.Y.- Matt Gebhardt (West Islip, NY/West Islip) (West Islip, NY/West Islip) netted a pair of goals as the Setters fell to the #1 Le Moyne College Dolphins 21-5 in Pace's Northeast-10 Conference opener. Pace falls to 3-1 on the season and opens 0-1 in the NE-10, while the Dolphins improve to 6-0 and 4-0 in conference play.
Gebhardt got the Setters off to a good start as he gave Pace a 1-0 lead early in the opening quarter. The Dolphins answered with the next three goals to take a 3-1 lead. Gebhardt cut the score down to a goal at the 2:29 mark of the first quarter but Le Moyne scored the next eight goals to take an 11-2 lead early in the third quarter.
Matt Mirabito (Binghamton, NY/Broome CC) (Binghamton, NY/Broome CC) and Matthew Cossidente (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) added goals for the Setters in the third quarter, while Cossidente assisted on a goal by Frank Buffalino (Syosset, NY/Syosset) (Syosset, NY/Syosset) late in the fourth quarter.
In net, Timothy Izzo (Trumbull, Conn./St. Joseph / Franklin Pierce) (Trumbull, CT/St. Joseph/Franklin Pierce) played the first half and recorded six saves as he falls to 3-1 on the season. Conor Brophy (Pompton Lakes, NJ/DePaul Catholic) came on to play in the second half, recording seven saves.  
The Setters return to action on Saturday, March 23 as they will travel to Manchester, NH for an NE-10 game against Southern New Hampshire at 1 pm.
