PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- The Setters fell to the #6 Adelphi University Panthers 10-2 in Northeast-10 Conference action. Pace falls to 4-5 overall and 3-3 in the NE-10, while the Panthers improve to 8-2 and 4-2 in conference play.

Adelphi kept the Setters off the scoreboard in the opening half with two goals in the first quarter and added four in the second quarter as the Panthers led 6-0 at the break.

The teams traded goals in the third quarter with Adelphi scoring to make it 7-0 but Pace rallied with a pair of goals. Matt Mirabito (Binghamton, NY/Broome CC) (Binghamton, NY/Broome CC) scored off a Mike Ruppert (Hicksville, NY/Holy Trinity) (Hicksville, NY/Holy Trinity) assist with 8:59 on the clock. Ruppert netted the second Pace goal of the day at the 5:33 mark of the third quarter off an assist by Mirabito to account for the Setter goals.

In net, Kevin Grady (Medford, NY/Bellport) played all 60 minutes as he recorded 12 saves in the game.

The Setters return to action on Saturday, April 14 when they will travel to Colchester, VT for a Northeast-10 Conference clash against Saint Michael's College at 1 pm.
