GARDEN CITY, N.Y.- The Setters fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-17) in the Northeast-10 Conference Quarterfinals to the Panthers of Adelphi University. The Panthers advance to NE-10 semifinals in Friday. Pace falls to 20-10 on the season, while the Panthers improve to 20-7 on the season.
The Setters struggled as they finished with 26 attack errors in the match. Tamilee Webb (Hartsdale, NY/Ardsley) (Hartsdale, NY/Ardsley) led Pace with nine kills, while Whitney Hilton (Channelview, TX/Atascocita) (Channelview, TX/Atascocita) and Melanie Pavels (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream South) (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream South) totaled seven kills each. Shea Hansen (Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain) netted 21 assists, while Pavels added 13 digs.
