WEST HARRISON, N.Y. – Tricia Molfetta was honored as one of the Business Council of Westchester's 2026 Rising Stars – 40 Under 40 on Tuesday evening at Million Air at Westchester County Airport.
Molfetta was selected as one of 40 young professionals from organizations throughout Westchester County recognized for their leadership, professional accomplishments and impact in the community. The 2026 class was celebrated Sept. 22 at the annual Rising Stars awards event.
Since taking over as head coach in the fall of 2017, Molfetta has built Pace Women's Lacrosse into one of the top programs in the country. She has compiled a 124-36 record in Pleasantville while leading the program to several of the biggest accomplishments in Pace Athletics history.
"The 2026 Rising Stars-40 Under 40 showcases the incredible depth, diversity, and innovation of Westchester County's business community," said Heidi Winslow, Chair of the Rising Stars program and Partner at DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Wise & Wiederkehr, LLP.
In 2023, Molfetta guided the Setters to a 21-2 campaign and the first NCAA national championship in Pace University history, defeating West Chester, 19-9, in the national title game. The program followed with another historic season in 2024, finishing 21-1 and capturing its first Northeast 10 Conference Championship.
Most recently, Pace finished the 2026 season at 16-6 and advanced to the NCAA Semifinals for the second time in program history, ending the year as one of the final four teams remaining in Division II.
Molfetta's selection places her among professionals from a wide range of industries and organizations across Westchester who were recognized by the Business Council for their work and leadership in the region. The Business Council officially announced Molfetta as a member of the 2026 class alongside the other Rising Stars honorees earlier this year.
