CALDWELL, N.J. – On Friday afternoon, Nikki Chandler recorded a top-10 individual finish to lead Pace University Women's Cross Country to fifth place at the Caldwell Cougar Chase.

The Setters finished the 5K with 142 points and a combined time of 2:18:12. St. Thomas Aquinas College captured the team title with 37 points, followed by Felician University with 53.

Chandler paced the Blue and Gold, crossing the finish line 10th overall in 23:39.8. She averaged 7:36.9 per mile and was Pace's lone runner inside the top 10.

Addison Martinez was the second Setter across the line, placing 30th overall with a time of 27:25.4. Alexandra Harrison followed closely behind in 33rd, completing the course in 28:16.2.

Madison Picerno and Mercedes Rodriguez completed Pace's five scoring runners. Picerno finished 37th in 29:20.5, while Rodriguez crossed immediately after in 38th with a time of 29:30.7. Sophie D'Orazio-Lelli followed in 40th at 30:15.8, with Sidnee Foushee placing 41st in 31:00.7.

Sienna Stawiecki (34:48.3), Inara Coles (35:48.0) and Mikaela Beabrun (46:16.2) rounded out the Setters' finishers

The Setters return to action Saturday, Sept. 26, when they compete at the Golden Eagle Invitational in Patchogue, NY. The 5K race is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
