USA Lacrosse Magazine honored 101 student-athletes from 35 Division II programs, with selections made by its staff with input from coaches and conferences across the country.
Lamoureux earned Second Team honors after making an impact in several areas for Pace. The short-stick defensive midfielder has appeared in all 18 games, totaling nine goals, 10 assists, 19 points, 41 ground balls, and 13 caused turnovers. His play between the lines helped the Setters control possession, create transition chances and strengthen one of the top defensive groups in the region.
Butler landed on the Third Team after leading the defensive unit throughout the spring. The defender has started all 18 games so far, posting 46 ground balls and a team-high 25 caused turnovers, helping Pace limit opponents to 162 goals through 18 contests. Butler has been a steady presence for a Setters team that has forced 200 turnovers this season.
Danowski received Honorable Mention All-America recognition after leading Pace's attack. He has started all 18 games, pacing the Setters with 66 points, scoring a team-high 49 goals while adding 17 assists. Danowski also contributed 30 ground balls, 14 caused turnovers, six man-up goals and two game-winning goals for the Blue and Gold.
Adoma added Honorable Mention honors at long-stick midfield with another strong season between the lines. He has started 17 games, recording 46 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers, two goals, and four assists, giving Pace production in transition and on the defensive end.
The national recognition comes during another strong postseason push for the Setters, who enter the week at 13-5 overall. Pace has outscored opponents 232-162 this season, collected 762 ground balls, and cleared at an .886 percentage while advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinal round.
The Setters now turn their attention to a familiar Northeast 10 Conference opponent, as Pace will travel to #1 Adelphi University for the NCAA Division II Championship Quarterfinals on Wednesday, May 13, at Motamed Field in Garden City, N.Y
