Doty Named NE10 Midfielder of the Year, Women’s Lacrosse Earns 12 All-Conference Honors

NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – Postseason honors reflected the depth and consistency of Pace University Women's Lacrosse, as 12 Setters were named to the Northeast 10 All-Conference Teams, announced Tuesday morning. The selections span offense, midfield, and defense, highlighting contributions throughout the lineup.

Leading the way, sophomore midfielder Marissa Doty earned NE10 Midfielder of the Year and All-NE10 First Team honors, totaling 42 points on 33 goals and nine assists, along with 35 ground balls, 33 caused turnovers, and 43 draw controls. The Syracuse, N.Y. native also earned NE10 Defensive Player of the Week once and contributed to all facets of the game.

Joining her on the First Team, senior attacker Mackenzie Carita has recorded 57 points on 33 goals and 24 assists, leading the Setters in total points. The Medford, N.Y. native also earned NE10 Player of the Week honors once and provided consistent production on offense.

Senior draw specialist Sasha Kulo also earned All-NE10 First Team honors after totaling 164 draw controls, setting a new program record this season and surpassing the previous career mark of 356. The Brewster, N.Y. native played a key role in possession throughout the year.

On the defensive side, junior defender Colleen Gilligan was named to the All-NE10 First Team after posting 26 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers. The Highland Mills, N.Y. native also earned NE10 Defensive Player of the Week honors once.

Senior defender Alyssa Wolf rounded out the First Team selections after recording 14 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. The Brookhaven, N.Y. native earned both NE10 Defensive Player of the Week and IWLCA National Defensive Player of the Week honors during the season.

Moving to the Second Team, senior attacker Maddie Schubert totaled 47 points on 40 goals and seven assists, along with five game-winning goals. The Port Jefferson Station, N.Y. native also earned NE10 Player of the Week honors once.

Junior attacker Annie Sheehan joined her on the Second Team after recording 56 points on 20 goals and 36 assists, while adding 19 ground balls and 12 draw controls.

Sophomore attacker Lisa Heffernan earned All-NE10 Second Team honors after totaling 29 points on 25 goals and four assists, along with 21 ground balls.

Junior midfielder Sarah Scheidel rounded out the Second Team selections after recording 33 ground balls, 20 caused turnovers, and 21 draw controls, contributing on the defensive end.

The group also featured three All-Rookie selections, beginning with freshman goalkeeper Camryn Smith, who posted a 10-0 record, 5.74 goals-against average, and 53 saves. The Crownsville, MD. native also earned NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors twice during the season.

Freshman attacker Jaime Petrullo earned All-Rookie recognition after totaling 15 points on 12 goals and three assists, contributing depth to the offense.

Freshman midfielder Lia Villari rounded out the selections after recording 30 points on 21 goals and nine assists, along with 10 ground balls, contributing in multiple roles during her first season.

Overall, the 12 selections reflect contributions across the lineup, as the Setters climbed as high as #7 nationally in Division II during the 2026 season.

The Setters advanced to the NE10 Semifinals set for Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., as Pace will host the #6-seeded Falcons of Bentley University at Northwell Stadium.
