NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – A dominant week on the offensive end has earned Pace University Women's Lacrosse senior attacker
Mackenzie Carita Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week honors, as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
The Medford, N.Y. native fueled the Setters offense during a 2-0 week, totaling 12 points on seven goals and five assists across a pair of conference victories.
Carita opened the week with a dominant showing against Assumption, registering seven points on six goals and one assist. She was nearly flawless in front of the goal, placing all seven of her shots on target while leading the Blue and Gold offensively.
She followed with another strong performance against Saint Michael's, finishing with five points, one goal, and four assists. Carita also added a ground ball, continuing to impact the game beyond scoring as the Setters secured their second win of the week.
Carita's performance highlights her role as a key playmaker for Pace, as the Setters continue to wrap up their regular season in the next week.
