PLEASANTVILLE, NY - The Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) has officially selected Pace University student-athlete Sean Byles to represent the Cayman Islands Men's Under-20 National Team in the upcoming 2026 CONCACAF Men's Under-20 World Cup Qualifiers. 

Byles is a freshman midfielder for Pace University Men's Soccer, originally from George Town in the Cayman Islands. Last year, he competed in his first season with the Blue and Gold and has continued his development within the program this spring. His selection to the Cayman Islands U20 National Team reflects his steady progression as he looks to improve his skills even further on the national stage.

The official competition window began this week and will run through March 5th with matches hosted in Curaçao. During this period, Byles will be competing in a Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) tournament as part of the Cayman Islands' official national team.

The Cayman Islands are set to compete against Canada, Jamaica, and Aruba in group-stage play, with qualification implications for the FIFA U20 World Cup pathway. Selection to the national team represents a significant achievement for Byles and his continued success in soccer.
