NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – On Thursday afternoon, the Northeast 10 Conference released its 2026 Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches' Poll, and Pace University was selected second overall, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Pace collected 73 points and one first-place vote, slotting just behind Adelphi at the top of the poll. Saint Anselm rounded out the top three with 62 points, while Bentley and Assumption completed the top five.
The preseason ranking reflects the Setters' momentum from a standout 2025 campaign, when Pace finished 17–5 overall and closed the year 10th in the final IWLCA Division II poll. With a strong core returning and expectations high entering the spring, the Blue and Gold are positioned to challenge near the top of the conference once again.
Pace will look to translate its No. 2 preseason standing into results on the field as the 2026 season gets underway on Sunday, February 22
nd at 12:00 p.m. against No. 15 Dominican University of New York.
