GREENSBORO, N.C. – On Thursday, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), in partnership with Rawlings, announced the All-Region teams and Players of the Year for NCAA DII Baseball. Representing the Setters on the list of recipients, senior pitcher
Vincent Civitella garnered All-East Region Second-Team honors.
Civitella had an impressive spring for Pace, helping guide the team to its second Northeast-10 Conference Championship in three years. The Clifton, N.J. native had an excellent campaign in 2025, finishing among the best pitchers in the region with a 3.15 earned run average, six wins, and 88 strikeouts throughout 74.1 innings.
The southpaw pitcher had several standout performances in the season, which earned him D2CCA and NCBWA All-East Region Second-Team honors alongside two conference Pitcher of the Week awards and a NCBWA East Region Pitcher of the Week recognition.
Aside from his accomplishments from this past season, Civitella also became Pace Baseball's All-time strikeout leader as her surpassed the previous record of 230 earlier this month. Overall, it was a season to remember for Civitella as he solidified himself among some of Pace baseball's greatest performers.
