PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Pace University Baseball has been recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) with the 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, honoring programs that achieved a cumulative team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year.
After producing a 3.48 cumulative team GPA, the Setters were among nearly 500 collegiate baseball programs nationwide to receive the distinction, highlighting the team's commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the field.
To earn the award, programs were required to:
- Be a high school or college baseball program.
- Have a head coach who is a current ABCA member.
- Achieve a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.
The ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, recognizes programs that demonstrate a commitment to academic success while competing at a high level. More than 800 high school and collegiate programs across the country were honored this year.
The recognition continues Pace Baseball's tradition of excellence in the classroom, reinforcing the program's dedication to developing successful student-athletes both academically and athletically.
