WINGATE, N.C. – On Friday afternoon, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced the All-Region Teams for the 2025 season. Representing the Blue and Gold,
Vincent Civitella was named to the NCBWA East Region Second Team after his impressive campaign.
The Clifton, N.J. native put together another stellar season for the Setters, totaling 69.1 innings pitched, 82 strikeouts, and six wins, while maintaining a 3.25 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. Throughout his 12 starts on the mound, Civitella has held his opponents to a .216 batting average as he dominated in his senior season.
After securing the Northeast-10 Conference Championship this past week, Civitella was named to the All-Championship team after earning two wins during Pace's title run. This year, he was named East Region Pitcher of the Week, alongside two separate Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week honors.
Additionally, the left-handed pitcher became Pace Baseball's All-Time Strikeout Leader, surpassing the previous mark of 230 as he continues to raise the bar in his accomplished career.
Civitella will look to keep the momentum rolling in his next start in the NCAA East Regional.
