PLEASANTVILLE, NY – Pace Men's Basketball has had a successful 2024-25 campaign and they're not done yet thanks to the late heroics of Tray Alexander last Sunday in the 74-72 buzzer beating win over Assumption.

With the post season underway, the Northeast-10 (NE10) Conference released their Men's Basketball All-Conference Awards Tuesday afternoon and Alexander is crowned Player of the Year while Trey Boyd III and Jabari Nurse receive their own respective honors.  

Alexander's season finale with the Blue and Gold has been nothing short of eventful. While being named National Player of the Week (11/16), notching his 1,000^th career point early in the season to breaking the Most Assists in a Single Season record, he's had a major impact on the Setters run this year. With the current average of 8.9 assists per game for 257 season total, he is second in all of Division II but leads lead the NE10 and paces the team with 16.3 points per game. With his Player of the Year title, he also earns First Team All-NE10 honors and even grasped an All-Defensive Team notion with an average of 3.0 steals per game (87 this year) to which he is also second in Division II.

The graduate student has been listed on the Top 15 Watch List of the Trevor Hudgins Award and the Top 50 for the Bevo Francis Award which takes into account Division II-III schools along with NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA Divisions.

Boyd III has earned himself Third Team All-NE10 honors after joining the squad this season as a transfer from Saint Rose. The sophomore featured an immediate effect on the team's performance and is second on the team with 14.1 points per game while leading the squad with 68 three-point field goals made for 37% (68-186). He also tallies 118 rebounds, 36 steals and 38 assists. Boyd is fifth in the NE10 with 2.3 3-PT Field Goals Per game.

Nurse joins Alexander on the All-Defensive Team. The junior guard is first on the team with 17 blocks and is second with 1.8 steals per game. On the boards, he has 120 rebounds on the defensive end for 3.0 defensive rebounds per game and collectively averages 5.2 rebounds per game. Nurse also has a hand in the offensive success for the Setters with 11.0 points per game, good for fourth on the team.

Pace Men's Basketball will head into the semifinal round of the NE10 Tournament on Wednesday when they go head-to-head with #1 seed Adelphi University in Garden City, NY at 7:30pm.
