Well-Rounded Effort Lifts Setters Past New Haven in Series Opener

WEST HAVEN, CT. – Pace baseball showcased its pitching and hitting in game one of their weekend series against the University of New Haven, capturing a 6-1 victory. • The next three innings left zeros on the scoreboard as Justin Dressler had his way on the mound for the Setters.
  • In the sixth and seventh innings, RBIs from Josh Miller and Benjamin Tullo put the Setters ahead 6-1 as the Chargers failed to find momentum on their home field.
  • With a five-run advantage, Eric Santaella held the home squad to one hit in the final innings. A textbook 4-6-3 double put the finishing touches on Pace's 6-1 win as game one of the weekend series went to the Blue and Gold.
