GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – In the Sunday conclusion of a three-game series against Adelphi University, Pace baseball came away with a 3-2 victory for their first in-conference win of the 2025 season. Runs in the third, fourth, and fifth innings were enough to fend off the Panthers in the ninth inning game as Pace improves to 6-8 on the year.

• The Panthers were the first to cross the plate after capitalizing on a single to right field. Down by one, the Setters crawled back into the contest behind a Dominic Rivara RBI groundout in the fourth. Heading into the bottom of the inning, the game was even at all square, 1-1.
• Following a one-run inning from the home team, the Setters used an RBI single from Luke Rivara to tie the game at two with five innings in the books.
• In the next inning, Pace took the advantage on the road with a George Provel single that found its way to right field.
• Anthony Apollaro went on to cruise through the final innings of the game, helping the Setters earn their first in-conference win of the 2025 campaign, 3-2.
