PLEASANTVILLE, NY - #2 Pace Women's Lacrosse hosted their second game of the season at Northwell Stadium with the Molloy Lions Wednesday evening.

Annie Sheehan, and
Marissa Doty led the offensive push for the Blue and Gold with Mottes recording six points and Carita, Sheehan, and Doty having four points respectively in the 17-5 non-conference victory.
Here's What Happened:
- Mottes tallied the first goal of the game within under a minute into regulation to ignite the Setter fire. Not even one minute later, Mary Kate Nawrocki, this week's NE10 Player of the Week, caged a goal of her own for the swift 2-0 lead over the Lions.
- By the end of the first, the Setters would score a total of seven goals (7-1), their best scoring performance of the night, thanks to the late quarter goals by Doty, Carita, and Sheehan.
- The Lions held the Setters to just three goals throughout the second while they would go on to cage a goal of their own to enter halftime with a 10-2 Setter lead.
- Laura Luikart posted her first collegiate career goal in the start of the third to give Pace a 11-2 advantage and it didn't take long for the squad to continue their push as Mottes and Carita would cage once more to extend their lead to 11, 13-2.
- Maddie Schubert made her first appearance this season and tallied the final goal of the third, 15-2.
- Molloy recorded three goals in the final quarter of the night, but their efforts were upended as the Setters ran away with the 17-5 victory.
Box Score Insights:
- Mottes led the team with six points overall on three goals and three assists and Carita and Sheehan recorded four points apiece. Carita led the charge with four goals for her tallied six points and Sheehan had two goals and two assists.
- Doty ended the night with four points on three goals and an assist while Luikart had two goals.
- Samantha Tanguay recorded the win inside the cage with five saves to improve her goalie record to 2-0.
- Defensively, Alyssa Wolf, Lindsay Radmann and Colleen Gilligan posted two caused turnovers each and Tanguay and Wolf sat tied with four ground balls.
