NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – Pace University Men's Soccer forward
Theo Poehlmann has been named the Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. The freshman earned the honor after a strong offensive showing that helped keep the Setters unbeaten over two matches.
Poehlmann opened the week in explosive fashion, scoring the game-winning goal just two minutes into Pace's 2-0 victory at Molloy, marking his second goal of the season.
The Philadelphia, PA. native continued to make an impact on the road at Saint Michael's, assisting on the Blue and Gold's lone goal in a 1-1 draw. Across the two matches, Poehlmann totaled one goal, two assists, and three points, directly contributing to both of Pace's scoring results.
With his creativity in the final third, Poehlmann has quickly established himself as one of the most promising newcomers in the NE10 as the Setters wrap up the 2025 season this Wednesday.
