PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Pace University Men's Soccer's Thomas Lyden has been selected to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced Tuesday afternoon by CSC. The honor recognizes Lyden as one of the top academic performers in the region following an impressive year both on the field and in the classroom.

The CSC Academic All-District program highlights student-athletes who demonstrate excellence academically while contributing significantly to their team's success. Minimum eligibility requirements are that the student-athlete needs to have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA) while also appearing in at least 90% of the team's total matches played OR have started at least 66% of the team's total matches played.

Lyden becomes the latest member of the Setters to earn the distinction, further showcasing the strong academic foundation of Pace's newly re-established men's soccer program.

Lyden played a central role for the Blue and Gold during the 2025 season, providing competitive quality throughout the fall. His selection to the Academic All-District Team reflects not only his impact on the field but also his commitment to academic achievement at Pace University.
