NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – Pace University Women's Soccer standout
Milani Thompson has been named the Northeast 10 (NE10) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
Thompson anchored a dominant Setter back line that produced two consecutive shutouts last week, playing all 180 minutes across a pair of victories. Her strong positioning and leadership in the defensive third were instrumental in keeping opponents off the scoreboard in both matches.
With Thompson leading the back line, Pace's defense held firm throughout the week, recording back-to-back clean sheets and continuing its run as one of the conference's most disciplined defensive units.
Next in store for Thompson and the Blue and Gold is a home match-up against Southern Connecticut State University set for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
