NEWARK, N.J. – Pace University Women's Cross Country took to Branch Brook Park on Saturday to compete in the NJIT XC Challenge. Racing against a large field of collegiate opponents from across the region, the Setters turned in several consistent performances over the 5K course.
Raelle Gorman once again led the Blue and Gold, finishing the 5K in 21:04.7 to place 33rd overall in the 110-runner field. Senior
Emma Voykhanskaya followed in 23:23.5 for 55th place, with
Elle Mount just behind her in 23:24.4 to take 56th.
Alexandra Harrison crossed the line in 25:27.5, finishing 82nd, while sophomore
Nikki Chong recorded a time of 25:59.1 for 85th.
Madison Picerno also competed for Pace, rounding out the group with a 27:12.0 showing, good for 94th place.
The Setters will continue their fall schedule on Saturday, October 18, when they compete at the St. Joseph's College Invitational at Sunken Meadow Park in Kings Park, N.Y.
