Setters Outmatched in Season Opener Against No. 8 Bloomsburg

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The ninth-ranked Pace University field hockey team opened its 2024 regular season with a home match-up against No. 8 Bloomsburg University. In the contest, the Setters were defeated 2-7 by the Huskies.

Here's what happened:
  • After a scoreless first period, Aydan McFarland broke into the scoring department with a goal three minutes into the second period.
  • In the first half, Bloomsburg made their presence known, holding Pace to only three shots to help take a 3-0 advantage into the locker room.
