PLEASANTVILLE, NY - Pace Women's Soccer (1-4-2 / 0-1-1 NE10) hosted an under the lights Northeast-10 match up with the Franklin Pierce Ravens at Northwell Stadium Saturday evening.
Both teams were held scoreless through the first half of the contest, but it was Franklin Pierce to be on the board first to acquire momentum for the 3-0 Setter defeat at home.
Here's What Happened:
- The first shot of the night didn't happen until 12-minutes into regulation when the Ravens ignited the day with a shot to the goal post. Pace would record one shot compared to the Ravens four when Skyler Flynn took an opportunity but sailed high.
- With the first goal still to be seen after 45-minutes, it was just a few moments later when the Setter opponents found the back of the net, 1-0.
- Franklin Pierce went on to score two more during the second half to upend the hosts, 3-0, for the conference defeat.
