RINDGE, NH - Pace Football (1-3 / 1-2 NE10) traveled to Rindge, NH to play Franklin Pierce University Saturday evening.
The Ravens piled on 27 points in the first quarter and ended up holding the Setters to only six after the first half. By the second, Pace would find their groove in the final quarter with 14 points, however, the hosts ran away with the 48-20 victory.
Here's What Happened:
- A huge 27 point first quarter forced the Setters in a hole early into the contest. By the second quarter, Ah-Shaun Davis put the squad on the board with a touchdown pass to Thomas Fusco, 27-6, however, by halftime the hosts led the Pace 34-6.
- In the final two quarters, both teams were evenly matched with a scoreless third quarter and a 14 point fourth quarter. With both teams tallying 14 in the final frame, it was Franklin Pierce to ignite the scoring run and then it will alternate until time ran out.
- Davis threw two more touchdowns, one to Teddy Harper and another to Gary Wilkins, but dropped to the Ravens, 48-20.
