Krista Dietz's two-goal performance led Pace field hockey to a 2-1 win over Adelphi University Wednesday night. With the in-conference victory, the Setters improve to 4-3 overall, and 1-1 in the Northeast-10 (NE10).
Here's What Happened
- Ten minutes into the contest, Dietz broke open the scoring with a goal off an assist from Jenna McCrudden.
- Adelphi evened up the game halfway through the second quarter after capitalizing off a penalty corner. Heading into the half, the Setters were all square with Adelphi 1-1.
- At the eight-minute mark of the third quarter, Pace had a chance to take the lead with a penalty corner opportunity. Dietz struck again, finding the back of the net to give Pace a 2-1 advantage.
- Both sides remained scoreless in the fourth, as the Setters closed out their 2-1 victory to earn their fourth win of the year.
