PHILADELPHIA, PA. – Pace volleyball coasted past Holy Family University, 3-0, Saturday afternoon on the road. In a dominant showing, the Setters handled the Tigers in each set to cruise to a 3-0 victory, improving to 4-2 in the 2024 regular season.
Here's What Happened
- The Setters began their day with a commanding 8-2 run over Holy Family. The opposition was outmatched in the opening set as the Blue and Gold captured a 25-13 win before switching sides.
- In the second set, it was a similar story for Pace jumping out to a 7-4 lead early. Ten kills from the Setters led them to a 25-15 win in set two as the Tigers fell behind on their home court.
- Holy Family managed to find momentum in the third set, finding themselves tied with Pace at 11. The Setters answered with a 5-1 run off multiple kills from Jala Drayton to bring the score to 16-12. Pace never looked back the rest of the way solidifying their fourth win of the season closing out with a 25-21 win.

- Yasmeen Muhammad led the Setters in kills with nine. Karielys Melendez followed closely behind, tallying six kills. As a team, the Setters had 38 kills in the contest compared to the Tigers' 22.

- Annika Blas-Cedeno had four aces in the match-up matching a career-high for the sophomore. The Blue and Gold notched ten total aces as a squad.
