WILMINGTON, D.E. - Pace Women's Soccer improved their overall record to 1-2-1 when they toppled Goldey-Beacom College on the road Saturday afternoon.
The victory over the Lightning secures the Setters first win of the season as they enter a six-day period of no contests until Sept. 21.
Here's What Happened:
- The Setters were trailing the hosts in first-half shots by two, 5-3, however, the second half of play bled blue-and-gold when they posted 11 shots, seven of their eight on goal, compared to the Lightning four.
- Pace's offensive performance was propelled towards their first goal of the game when Andrea Flores found the back of the net for her first goal of the season, 1-0.
- Less than 10-minutes later, Alexis Lee was able to secure the dagger goal for the Setters when they went up 2-0 and held off the Lightning for their first win of the season.

- Flores and Lee secured a goal each. Flores led the charge with three shots while Lee had one.
- Setter keeper, Annabella Cole, made her first appearance in goal this season and recorded two saves.
